🔳 Adventure Quilt 🔲

made from the trash of 1300 covid tests, one package of coffee beans, and cotton thread
As the Pandemic Coordinator at a high school in the fall of 2021, I administered covid tests to all 427 students twice a week. At the end of each day, I was surrounded by piles of metallic covid test wrappers. I began collecting, sorting, and sewing the trash in breaks between testing shifts. The final product is elegant and fit for adventure - waterproof and extremely durable.
